Hi, I’m Naomi Racz. I’m a writer. I’m currently writing a history of urban nature writing and I’m the editor of Stonecrop Review, an online magazine of urban nature writing, art, and photography. I also write about (non-urban) nature, place, and writing on my blog. I’ve written for City Creatures, The Learned Pig, and Zoomorphic – take a look at my portfolio.
I’m originally from Manchester. I got my BA in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews and I have an MA in Writing, Nature and Place from the University of Exeter (Cornwall Campus). I lived in Nottingham for a year, Amsterdam for four years, and now live in Toronto with my husband. I’m currently a Publicity Intern with Hachette Book Group Canada.
I like riding on trains, cycling adventures, climbing, and walks in the park. Mostly I like to read and drink tea.
