Hi, I’m Naomi Racz. I’m a freelance writer for hire. I’ve written creative non-fiction and personal essays for City Creatures, The Learned Pig, and Zoomorphic. I’ve also written blogs and articles for Impakter Magazine, the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, Political Insight, and Roofing Today. I mainly write about nature, place, and social media. Take a look at my portfolio.

If you’d like to commission something from me or discuss my work, visit my Contact page or find me on social media.

A bit more about me

I’m originally from Manchester, UK. I have an MA in Writing, Nature and Place from the University of Exeter (Cornwall Campus) and a Diploma in Copywriting from the Blackford Centre. I lived in Nottingham for a year, Amsterdam for four years, and now live in Toronto with my husband¬†and dog.

I’m currently writing a history of urban nature writing and I’m the editor of Stonecrop Review, an online magazine of urban nature writing, art, and photography. You can also read my thoughts about writing, books, and life on my blog.

I like riding on trains, cycling adventures, climbing, and walks in the park. Mostly I like to read and drink tea.
